Miscellaneous References Key-ins

The following key-ins are used for various references operations. When specifying the reference a "file_spec" can be used, which may be the file name or the logical name of the reference.

References key-in Description
ITEMSET REBUILD <itemset name> Rebuilds a selected item set.
ITEMSET REBUILDALL <itemset name> Rebuilds all item sets.
ITEMSET RENAME <itemset name> <new item set name> Renames an item set.
ITEMSET ZOOM <itemset name> Zooms a selected item set.
PUBLISHREFERENCES <ON | OFF> If on, publishes the references with the master file.
REFERENCE ADJUSTCOLORS <value,saturation,file_spec> Sets the Value and Saturation parameters for the defined references.
REFERENCE DISPLAY <ON | OFF | TOGGLE> <filename> Turns on or off the display of the defined references.
REFERENCE EXCHANGE <reference_file_name>

XD=<reference_file_name>

Opens the defined reference, retaining the same view configuration.

If no filename is given with the key-in, you are prompted to select a reference (graphically).

REFERENCE FIT Fits the selected reference in the display areas.
REFERENCE HIERARCHY SHOW/HIDE Shows or hides the model's reference hierarchy.
REFERENCE MAKEDIRECT [parent_file_name]->[nested_file_name] Promotes nested attachments to direct attachments.
REFERENCE LEVELS ON|OFF|TOGGLE <file_spec> For the defined references, all levels are turned on, off, or their on/off state is switched.
REFERENCE LOCATE <ON | OFF> Enables/disables the locate command as in Reference Manager Arrow icon.
REFERENCE NEWSESSION <reference_file_name> Opens the defined reference in a new ConstructSim Planner session.
REFERENCE ROTATE ANGLE/POINTS <file-spec> Rotates a reference.
REFERENCE SNAP <ON | OFF | TOGGLE> Enables or disables the snap command as in Reference Manager.
REFERENCE SYNCHRONIZE LEVELS <file_spec> Synchronizes the properties of levels in the defined reference and its attachments with the properties of levels in the source file of the attachment.
REFERENCE UPDATE <ON | OFF | TOGGLE> Updates the selected reference.
